With over 35 years of hands on experience working in both local and international private companies. I have worked in a variety of roles over the duration of my career which has enabled me to develop an in depth understanding of multiple industries for both listed and non-listed entities. As a Consultant I have been given the opportunity to work with clients in advisory field, namely in the areas of Risk, Treasury, Compliance, Trading, Finance and Administration.

I have an exemplary work ethic, deep integrity, being hardworking, dedicated and loyal. I am considered a professional and am highly regarded by work colleagues and friends alike. I have experience and knowledge in many facets of business in commercial environments.  Specifically in respect of risk, treasury and financial perspective my expertise is in the international trading platform.  I am fully appreciative of requirements for meaningful, accurate and current reporting.  As a result, regulatory compliance and meeting deadlines, are high on my list of priorities.

Post an academic Matriculation at Plumstead High School in 1972, I attended the Cape College for Advanced Technical Education in 1973 where I completed a National Secretarial Diploma. I furthered my education and in 1989 completing my diploma at The Chartered Institute of Secretaries.  I was later awarded the status of an Associate. In 2002 I completed a Diploma in Advanced Treasury Management via UNISA.   Thereafter I attended a Foreign Exchange Management Course with SAFTO. Having made the decision to further my education I enrolled for a BCOMM with UNISA which I am in the process of completing.

Throughout my career I attended and completed various courses relating to VAT, International Financial Reporting Standards, Income Tax, Accpac, Pastel, The Institute of Directors – Corporate Governance, JSE listings Requirements.
